Position Summary:
League Projects Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Dozer Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dozer to support lease and road reclamation projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and precise movement of materials and terrain modification in accordance with project requirements and safety regulations.
Location: Brooks / Taber and surrounding areas
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate dozers to perform rough and fine grading, backfilling, ditching, slope work, and right-of-way clearing.
Work closely with foremen, superintendents, and other equipment operators to ensure job requirements are met safely and efficiently.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including those outlined by OH&S and League Projects Ltd.
Support site clean-up and material organization when equipment is not in use.
Participate in safety meetings and job hazard assessments (JHAs).
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Strong knowledge of dozer operations, including terrain reading and ground conditions.
Ability to operate GPS-equipped equipment (an asset but not required).
Familiarity with construction site protocols and safe work practices.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions.
Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of dozer operating experience in heavy civil, pipeline, or oilfield construction.
Experience working on remote sites and within large project teams.
Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, and Ground Disturbance II tickets required prior to mobilization.
