Our Project Management group is currently looking to add a Project Administrator to the team, based in Blackfalds, AB. Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office, the Project Administrator provides administrative services support to the Construction Management team through all stages of project execution, including engineering and design, construction, commissioning and completion.
The role is broad in scope and requires the successful applicant to be flexible and collaborative in their approach, applying attention to detail and proficiency in cost and project reporting, change management, stakeholder relations, communication management and document control. The successful applicant will be required to hit the ground running and be able to work utilizing existing systems and also be comfortable developing these and/ or new tools to meet project requirements as the need arises.
Please note: this is an hourly position and requires travel to client sites across Western Canada
Duties and Responsibilities
Gather daily foreman time sheets
Prepare and distribute Daily LEMs
Maintain LEM log to ensure proper signoff on LEMs is received in a timely manner
Issue Purchase Orders to Approved Vendors
Assist with the capture and charge out of third-party invoices
Effectively report relevant project information to superiors in a consistent manner
Generate monthly invoice requests
Participate and contribute to project related meetings
Post-secondary education in a relevant field of work
2-5 years of project related experience in the oil and gas, pipeline construction or infrastructure industries
Demonstrated experience developing and managing spreadsheets and summary reports
Strong skills in planning, analysis, and problem solving
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
