One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in United States or Canada.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the frontend architecture for the notifications platform. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to standardize UI components and patterns across multiple teams, ensuring consistency and performance. With a focus on frontend technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, you’ll help implement and maintain in-app and email notification systems, all while fostering a strong developer community and contributing to the evolution of platform capabilities.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain the frontend architecture for the notifications platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Standardize UI components and patterns for consistency across different teams and projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to streamline developer onboarding and improve the overall developer experience.
- Implement and maintain email and in-app notification systems, ensuring they are highly performant and user-friendly.
- Document best practices for developers and create quick-start guides for efficient usage of components and patterns.
- Assist in debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on deploying web applications.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and other modern frontend frameworks.
- Proven ability to design and implement complex web systems, with a focus on maintainability and performance.
- Solid understanding of debugging production issues across services and multiple layers of the stack.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, with a focus on rapid iteration and feedback loops.
- A passion for emerging technologies, such as AI, and the ability to stay ahead of trends to apply them creatively to the platform.
