Join our team today!Job DescriptionReporting to the Clinical Services Manager of MH Intensive/Geriatrics, you will provide Recreation Therapy services including assessments, recovery oriented group activities, and other meaningful activities related to recovery in our Inpatient Structured Program including related documentation. QualificationsCertified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Registered Therapeutic Recreation Ontario Member (R/TRO) Must be a member of the Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association (CTRA) or Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO)B.A. in Therapeutic Recreation or B.A in Recreation & Leisure Studies with a Therapeutic Recreation option/streaming preferred ORB.A and must have a post-graduation certificate from Georgian College (1yr) or diploma (2yr) in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited schoolMinimum of 2-3 years current experience working with Mental HealthKnowledge of Major Disorders of Mental HealthDemonstrated knowledge of issues related to mental illnessMOAB (Management of Aggressive Behaviours) training an assetMental health first aid, Asist training an asset Experienced in developing and conducting group programming as per the Recovery ModelExcellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with community resources and demonstrated ability to work well with community partners an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamComputer proficiencyExcellent attendance, punctuality, and work recordAbility to perform physical requirements of the jobMust demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and CollaborationTravel between and work at all Osler sites as operationally requiredAdditional InformationHours: Currently Days 8 hours, including weekends (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)Salary:
