Customer Service Agent – Insurance Billing
Exciting hybrid opportunity in the insurance industry. Provide frontline support for inbound billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and deliver exceptional service in a dynamic contact center setting. Work on rotating shifts, including evenings and Saturdays, with initial on-site training followed by hybrid flexibility.

• Scheduled shifts are 8 hours per day (7.5 hours paid).
• Contact Center operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
• Shifts will vary within these hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Hybrid role based at the Markham Office.
• Initial training is conducted on-site and lasts approximately two weeks.
• After training, the role transitions to a hybrid model with a mix of on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound billing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with insurance partners and underwriters.
• Support internal stakeholders across contact centers and branches.
• Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email channels.
• Accurately interpret customer needs and resolve concerns efficiently.
• Gather relevant information to ensure seamless issue resolution.
• Take ownership of customer interactions and follow through on all inquiries.
What you will need to succeed:
• 1–2 years of experience in a contact center environment, preferably within the insurance or banking industry.
• Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze and resolve customer concerns.
• Professional telephone and email etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows applications, and web-based programs.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.
