Unposting Date: 2025-06-16 11:59 PM The Centre de l’information (CDI) in Montreal is the beating heart of Radio-Canada News & Current Affairs — the central point of convergence for the news of the day, be it local, national or international. Today, the CDI is looking for one part-time reporter (three (3) days a week) for its digital news service. In this role, you will write copy; edit photos, video and audio; and produce thorough, fact-checked, dynamic and compelling news content that will be delivered primarily across our digital platforms in accordance with corporate standards and policies. You will also be required to pitch original angles and story ideas to help make Radio-Canada a trusted news source in the digital space. For reference purposes, this position will be assigned to the CDI based on production needs. It is essential to be available to work irregular hours (days, evenings, nights and weekends). Job requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Three (3) years’ journalism experience At least one (1) year's experience in digital journalism is an asset Skills: Broad general knowledge Excellent knowledge of current events Strong ability to make complex stories easily understood Excellent command of French Advanced oral proficiency, intermediate writing proficiency and advanced reading proficiency in English Strong writing and storytelling skills on digital platforms Comfort and creativity to explore new digital formats.
