Position Summary
Technicut Tool (TCT) is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for our Windsor, Ontario location. If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Technicut Tool is a great place to start!
This position works Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. The pay range for this position is between $18.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follow established safety procedures and work instructions.
Ensure proper surface masking and preparations.
Ensures all parts are clean and free of burrs and imperfections.
Use of a wide variety of finishing tools, including electric and pneumatic (right angle grinder, die grinder, orbital sanders) as well as tumbling machines.
Perform sandblasting and shot peening operations in accordance with specifications and safety guidelines.
Ensures deburring equipment is operating at optimal performance with proper care of all tools and equipment.
Positions and assembles parts according to specified instructions, routings, and blueprints.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Inspect parts for defects.
Monitor process control to ensure process is within predetermined parameters.
Rack and un-rack parts by hand. Prepare products for shipping.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
High School/GED or equivalent education.
2-3+ years of experience in a production environment preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to handle delicate parts without causing damage.
