About the Team The National Accounts team supports AGF’s Retail Sales and AGF Capital Partners divisions, with product expertise spanning the full suite of AGF strategies. The team plays a critical role in expanding distribution across bank and independent dealer platforms and driving AUM growth through strategic initiatives, while working cross-functionally with teams such as Investment Management, Marketing, Innovation, Product, and Compliance. About the Role: Reporting to the Manager, National Accounts, the National Account Specialist helps strengthen dealer relationships, support product approvals (SMAs, mutual funds, alternatives, and model portfolios), and execute key growth initiatives (conferences, roadshows, and national calls). This role is ideal for someone passionate about financial markets, driven to make an impact, and eager to collaborate in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Your Responsibilities: Support AUM growth by advancing product approvals and distribution across dealer platforms, including AGF Investments and AGF Capital Partners strategies Maintain and manage a pipeline of opportunities with key dealers Help support and maintain strong relationships with dealers and key stakeholders. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Retail sales, Capital Partners, Investment Management, Marketing and Innovations, Product, and Compliance) to execute requests related to National Accounts and client specific needs. Maintain working knowledge of industry and dealer trends by staying informed of new products and services rolled out by dealers. Schedule and prepare for meetings with key national account stakeholders. Prepare and coordinate presentations, conference calls, dealer conferences, marketing materials, and activity reporting. Prepare account plans and provide reporting against national account objectives. Lead the coordination of service due diligence by prepping material for key dealers. Help deliver training and support to Retail Sales on key dealers. Your Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in the Sales or Finance industry Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field Working knowledge of investment strategies encompassing Mutual Funds, SMAs, and ETFs, including competitive offerings and market trends High learning agility, with the ability to deepen knowledge of AGF’s Investments and AGF Capital Partners products and strategies. Strong computer and phone skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Strong analytical skills Ability to create and maintain relationships. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent interpersonal, judgment & decision-making skills Self-motivated and ability to be a great team player.
