Join our Payroll and Benefits team at SSENSE and play a key role in managing our payroll operations!Reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll and Benefits, you will be at the heart of processing payroll for our Canadian entity (based in Quebec). If you are meticulous, have a thorough understanding of Canadian payroll regulations, and enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, we invite you to read on:What You Will Do:Payroll Management: You will ensure the complete, timely, and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll for our Canadian entity (based in Quebec), including new hires, changes, bonuses, terminations, and records of employment. Occasional support for our US and UK entities may be required.Ensure Compliance: You will ensure all payroll transactions comply with applicable legislation and our internal controls. You will also ensure records are up-to-date and data consistency between our HRIS (Workday) and payroll (ADP) systems.Provide Employee Support: You will respond quickly and professionally to employee questions regarding payroll, pay statements, deductions, tax forms, vacation, benefits, and any other related payroll inquiries.Benefits Administration: You will be responsible for enrollments, changes, and terminations, while ensuring data accuracy and liaising with benefits providers.Support Year-End and Audit Process: You will be involved in researching and gathering information to support the year-end and audit processes.QualificationsA degree in accounting, payroll, human resources, or a related field.A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience processing full-cycle payroll in Quebec, including experience with a payroll system.Solid knowledge of payroll employment standards in Quebec and Canada.A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, strong asset.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.Be proficient in French as it is the language in the Quebec province.Be available to come to the office twice a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).What sets you apart:Rigor and Organization: You demonstrate excellent analytical skills, great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, allowing you to manage your time effectively.Adaptability and Multitasking: You thrive in dynamic environments and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Relationships and Collaboration: You possess excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build relationships, combined with a strong team spirit and customer service orientation.Professionalism and Discretion: You are capable of handling confidential information with the utmost professionalism.Additional InformationPerks And Benefits: Extended health and dental benefits, including comprehensive mental health programs and coverage.Parental top up program.Generous Employee Discount.
