Gardenland Co-op is hiring a full-time Parts Person at Industrial Ag & Parts (formerly Venture Ag in Morden).
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports to: James Friesen, Manager
Shifts: Monday – Friday 8am-5:30, Saturday rotation 8am-2pm
Work Location: 492 9th Street, South, Morden

Gardenland Industrial Ag & Parts is a retail parts store that stands out for its broad selection of automotive, industrial and agricultural parts, including bearings, belts, welding supplies, batteries, filters, and hydraulic hoses.
What you’ll do:
The Parts Person will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with farmers, businesses, and industrial clients. This role includes merchandising, sourcing product availability from vendors and providing delivery dates to customers, ordering parts, as well as inventory management and transaction processing (includes accurately recording parts and pricing when processing quotes, work orders or invoices). Additional duties involve maintaining store organization and cleanliness, ensuring an efficient and customer-friendly environment. You will assist customers with parts inquiries by phone, email and in-person. Occasionally, the Parts Person will also be required to deliver products to customers as needed.
The Parts Person will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.

Have strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Are proficient in basic computer applications for order processing, inventory management and are familiar with common office software and online tools.
Are a life-long learner and stay up to date on industry trends and product knowledge.
Can work in a fast-paced retail environment that will require walking, standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs, and manual tasks.
Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license.
Preference given to candidates with prior parts counter or sales experience.
