We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Field Sales to lead our Large Law Firm (LLF) sales team and drive growth across our portfolio of legal solutions, including Westlaw and Practical Law. About the Role As the Director of Field Sales - LLF, you will: Provide strategic and operational leadership to a high-performing team of sales professionals; You will be responsible for achieving sales, revenue, and retention goals while developing and executing strategies to expand market share and drive long-term business growth Lead and inspire a team of Sales Executives to exceed sales and revenue targets Own and maximize total new sales, up-sell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within the portfolio Develop and execute strategic quota plans and ensure pipeline health through rigorous sales discipline and process management Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Commercial Excellence teams Drive adoption of sales automation tools to enhance productivity and efficiency Provide coaching, performance management, and career development for team members to build a high-performing sales culture Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement Manage financial and operational results, including resource allocation and segment goal setting Contribute to broader functional strategy and proactively recommend improvements to address business challenges. About You You're a fit for the Director of Field Sales - LLF if your background includes: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 10+ years in sales leadership roles, preferably within the Legal, Tax, or Accounting industries Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales enablement tools Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a leadership role Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading both ICs and people managers Deep understanding of the legal industry and legal technology solutions is highly preferred Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical capabilities Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to adapt quickly. #LI-AY1 What’s in it For You?
