Wages: As per current Collective Bargaining Agreement, based on 40 hours of work per week
Duties: An employee in this classification is required to carry out maintenance of the TPA’s parking meters, machines and revenue control equipment. The employee will assume full responsibility for work given to them with minimum supervision. Employees will be responsible to perform work assignments such as:
Loading tickets into parking machines, meter, coin checks, device inspections, and performing rate changes
Cleaning of parking machines, EV stations and shop, as scheduled, performing credit card retrieval on parking machines, repair of parking machines and revenue control equipment, installation, removal and transport of parking machines
Unloading coins and/or notes from on-street parking machines, off-street parking machines, and Pay on Foot equipment on a scheduled basis
Returning all revenue collected to a predetermined location for processing, immediate reporting of any malfunctioning parking machines to the attention of the supervisor
Closing work orders on SAM app
Clean/organize shop as scheduled. Perform other related duties, as assigned.
This position is within the scope of Payment Card Industry compliance (Involved in handling collected cards and performing device inspections)
Qualifications:
Must have and continue to be in possession of a valid G driver's license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience, a good driving record, insurable at preferred rates and be prepared to drive all TPA vehicles.
High school equivalency with basic math skills and good oral and written communication skills.
Must have basic working knowledge in electronic fundamentals, both theory and practical. Must have knowledge in the use of electronic instruments to test related equipment.
Able to learn and use SAP work order application or other TPA software as needed and be willing to carry a TPA phone.

Must be willing to work various and/or rotating shifts across a 24/7 operation
Physically able to lift, push and pull heavy loads and work outdoors in varying climatic conditions.
Must have good attendance record.
Any employee with more than one (1) year’s continuous on the job service in the full-time bargaining unit may apply for reclassification provided they have completed the required four (4) month assessment period.
Conditions of Employment: Employees applying for this position will be assigned to perform other related duties as directed by the Manager, or designee. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including day, afternoon and weekend shifts, with rotating days off. Candidates must be willing to work any other shift or location as needed.
Selection: Suitability and selection will be determined in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
