Our Assert Management and Maintenance division is currently seeking for a Manager Tunnels position to support LRT and subway Projects.
What will I be doing?
Conduct technical reviews of various design submissions by TAs, Proponents & Proj Cos upon on request by Project Delivery Teams
Conduct Quality Assurance Reviews from RCD/PSOS to Execution & Maintenance Phases
Review & provide responses to all technical inquiries by Project Delivery Teams
Responsible to ensure owners requirements (including standards and codes), are in compliance during the development of RCDs, PSOS & PAs
Attend design review meetings with Project Delivery Teams in all phases of projects
Provide continuous technical assistance to various project delivery teams at all stages of projects
Manage the technical interface among the Project Delivery Teams, Technical Advisors, Delivery Partners & Sponsors to ensure seamless integration with Corridor Civil Infrastructure
Ensure that objectives related to engineering, design standards/design review, technical specifications & ensure technical standards and procedures are developed and kept current
Support Project Delivery teams by providing responses to RFIs related to Standards during design development, In-Market & Execution Phases
Conduct site visits during execution phase & generate site visit reports
Initiate/review Variations to Standards when & if required
Initiate & conduct technical meetings related to Standards with Project Delivery Teams & other Mx disciplines as required
Coordinate work with other technical committees
Support the duties of Sr Manger
Supervise & coordinate the work of Standard Committees
Generate periodical functional reports as required
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
P.Eng designation or in process
Demonstrated experience in Tunnel Engineering or related, engineering disciplines or a combination of design, delivery, testing and commissioning, operations, rehabilitation and maintenance of Subways (Tunnels) systems in a comparable role.
Demonstrated experience in design and construction in underground structures (segmental liners, SEM (NATM)) related to large complex multi-year transit projects including TBM excavation.
Proficient in the assigned area of the engineering discipline to be able to serve as subject matter expert (SME) representative in the assigned asset class discipline designation
Knowledgeable in and able to deploy project management principles and practices, including schedule controls and monitoring, review and reporting on overall progress and performance.
Proficient in change and risk management and assessment initiatives to be able to support the team and make timely decisions to manage schedule and reputational risk and address issues.
Proficient in the development, selection and communication of metrics and performance results through the regular reporting of information, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) required to make well-informed business decisions in all aspects of the asset class functions performance.
Knowledge in trenchless construction
Proficient in Handover and Commissioning of Subway and LRT projects
