We aim for excellence.What we offer:Salary: 21,60$6 monts- Temporary positionA new pair of steel-toe boots on the first day.Job DescriptionReporting to the Site Manager, the Heavy Equipment Operator receives various types of metals, performs an initial classification, and directs them to the appropriate areas.You will be responsible for:Greeting customers courteously by following our procedures and requirements;Assisting with the unloading of materials;Sorting different metals based on their characteristics;Inspecting customers' metals;Identifying the correct type of metal for each product and validating its quality;Weighing metals on the scale;Entering data into the RECY software;Operating various types of machinery (Forklift);Preparing receiving/shipping tickets;Ensuring cleanliness of the work areas;Performing any other related tasks.Qualifications1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;Knowledge of metal recycling (major asset);Experience with forklifts (major asset); on-the-job training provided;Bilingual (asset);Demonstrate a professional and safe behavior;Be versatile and resourceful;Have an easy time working in a team;Excellent priority management skills;Provide excellent customer service.Additional InformationAmerican Iron and Metals (AIM) and its subsidiaries are an equal opportunity employer.
