Role description:
Arcadis Canada is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager and Technical Consultant to join the Intelligent Mobility Services team to lead digital asset management and digital transformation initiatives with our clients. This role will involve managing complex projects, providing expert guidance on digital strategies, and driving organizational change to deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital technologies, business transformation, and project management methodologies, coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills.
This role will sit within the larger Global Mobility Business Area. We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today’s mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world’s growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.
Role accountabilities:
Project Management:
As Senior Project Manager you will lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring scope, budget and timelines are met. This includes preparing project plans, which includes deliverables, milestones, resource allocation and risk management strategies. As Project Manager, you will monitor project performance and progress using KPIs, and provide regular updates to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Client Relationship Management:
The Project Manager is the primary point of contact for clients during project lifecycles, addressing concerns and providing regular updates. Managing the client relationships is a key aspect of the work. This includes managing internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring their needs are met consistently and proactively. In many projects, workshops are used to facilitate client engagement. You will manage these workshops along with client meetings, and presentations to gather client feedback and to align with project expectations.
Your objective is to build long-term relationships based on trust, reliability, and delivering value.
Occasionally, the development and support of technical content for proposal deliveries are required.
Technical and Solution Delivery:
In this role, you will take ownership of translating business needs into functional and technical specifications, guiding solution delivery teams through the configuration, testing, and deployment of systems. You will spearhead the integration of new systems with existing platforms, overseeing data migration, system upgrades, and implementation processes, all while addressing challenges and optimizing solutions.
As a key driver of digital transformation, you will provide strategic leadership on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to future-proof organizational or client operations. You will identify, recommend, and implement technology solutions, platforms, and tools to enhance operational efficiency, elevate customer experiences, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Leadership and Mentorship:
You will provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate analysts and team members, share your expertise and insights to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (master's degree is preferred).
15+ years of experience in business and systems analysis, delivering end-to-end solutions in complex environments.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications are highly desirable
Strong understanding of digital technologies such as Cloud, AI, IoT, RPA, Data Analytics, GIS, and CRM/ERP systems
Familiarity with the public sector client environment will be an asset.

The salary range for this position is $114,590-$212,810. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
