Reporting to the FSM Communications Lead, the FSM Communications Specialist will help drive the understanding, readiness, and adoption required to enable the success of the program. You will support the creation and delivery of strategic communications to various critical stakeholders to meet FSM business objectives, support corporate strategy, build culture, and impact employee experience. You will be a critical member of the FSM program team, work closely with Change Management Leads and partnering with the enterprise-wide Corporate Communications team to proactively plan and execute internal and external strategic and operational communications, spanning several phases through the course of the program. About the Role Develop, implement, and measure effective enterprise-wide, divisional, internal and external communications that help stakeholders understand the FSM program and its impacts. Assist with all necessary internal and external communications assets to support the successful implementation of the FSM program. Support ongoing employee engagement in the program, leveraging all internal communications channels and touchpoints. Promote these communication assets with all relevant stakeholder groups for purpose of change communications. Draft and execute internal and external communications plans and accompanying materials (plans, intranet and web content, video scripts, briefs) to support all the LCBO’s FSM efforts in support of the organization’s mission and vision to attract a wide array of audiences. Manage work back schedules and approvals across multiple business stakeholders. Schedule and plan necessary communications touchpoints with multiple business stakeholders. About You Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Communications, Arts Administration, Business, Public Relations or equivalent. 3+ years of communications experience. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to write, speak and edit at a senior level demonstrating 100% accuracy in grammar, spelling and content. Proficient in MS tools (e.g. PPT, Outlook) and SharePoint. Experience in retail or the broader public sector, IT transformation, and/or beverage alcohol sector is preferred. Experience with change management and communicating key initiatives across multiple target audiences. Results-oriented; proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive integrated communications and engagement strategies to help achieve business and program objectives. Outstanding project management and problem-solving skills. Strong at building relationships; can work independently and collaboratively; self-motivated and disciplined to meet deadlines in the context of competing priorities and projects; work effectively with cross-functional teams.
