Position Overview: As a part of the Digital Transformation & Innovation team, the Quality Assurance Intern will be working closely with this team, as well as cross functional teams such as Integration teams, Data Analytics, Finance and Cybersecurity. The main projects for this position will center around being the primary QA responsible for a large API project. This role entails having some fundamental knowledge of software testing. This internship will run full-time from September to December 2025. Our paid internship program gives students practical work experience, learning and development workshops, social outings, and an opportunity to network with our leadership team. What You’ll Do: This person is responsible for drafting end-to-end test cases; executing the test cases and managing all activities to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems. Identify test requirements from specifications, and map test case requirements. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like (Selenium, AccelQ). Assist in maintaining test documentation, including test cases, and test reports. Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. Collaborate with QA Lead and other QA team to assist with meeting Sprint Goals. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: 3rd or 4th year post-secondary student pursing Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Good understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC. Highly technical and comfortable with Software development lifecycle, Agile Practices, Automation, and test management. Good understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing. Familiar with bug reporting and tracking using tools such as JIRA. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated communication skills with an eagerness to learn and contribute. Strong time management and able to manage multiple projects and priorities. Self-sufficient individual with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams. You will work a hybrid model with 2 days in office per week, with full-time hours Monday to Friday.
