Keyera Career Opportunity Job Type: Permanent THE POSITION Keyera is currently seeking a Material Management Project Advisor that will support SCM and the Capital Projects Team reporting into the Material Management Manager This individual will be responsible for working in conjunction with all Project stakeholders and supporting the SCM Project Specialist(s) in developing and executing Material Management Strategies and Execution Plans for Capital Projects This position will have a travel requirement that is dependent on project requirements Working a Monday to Friday, 40 hour/week schedule RESPONSIBILITIES Capital Project(s) Support Work in conjunction with SCM Specialist(s), EPCs & Project Stakeholders in developing Material Management Project Strategies & Execution Plans for Capital Projects Execute Material Management Plans for Capital Projects Understand and follow the PDS (Project Delivery System) in regard to Material Management Implement Material Management Projects processes and procedures Assist in recruiting onsite Project Material Coordinator(s) Guide, train and support the onsite Project Material Coordinator ensuring they are following SCM Material Management process and procedures Mentor the Project Material Coordinator for the duration of the project ensuring that the Material Management Strategy is followed Streamlining and supporting the Ready for Operations (RFO) activities for Material Management for Operations General Duties Assist in AFD (Authorization for Disposal) activities for Facilities, Capital Projects and the DLR Team Support the SCM Material Management Team in continued maturity, governance & growth Look for improvement opportunities and grow and flex as the processes in projects develop Develop and maintain relationships between SCM, CMT, Commissioning, Operations, and applicable stakeholders Responsible for Data Integrity for the Maximo Inventory Storeroom & Item Master Member of the Keyera Material Management Governance Team & initiatives Communication with all stakeholders as required Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of Material Management experience with a focus on Project delivery, execution, and support Valid Class 5 Driver's license with clean driving record Previous experience within Supply Chain in a material management position Ability to multitask and work on numerous projects at once Previous exposure to Maximo or other ERP systems Ability to build and maintain relationships with various internal stakeholders including CMT, Operations, Maintenance, Management and Engineering Comfortable working with a team that shares work and responsibility for the success of the project Self-directed and motivated while complying to with policies and procedures Ability to prioritize and organize to meet shifting daily demands based on project schedules Ability to respond consistently with a high degree of initiative, to have an analytical ability to resolve issues and complex problems Posting Expiry Date: Jun 9, 2025 Keyera embraces diversity and inclusion and we’re working to create a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
