We are looking to hire Crusher Support Operators in Peace River Region of Alberta with aggregate and heavy equipment experience for the 2025 Summer season.
The Crusher Support Operator is responsible for monitoring crushing equipment from the ground to ensure safe and efficient operations. Duties will include general manual labour on-site.
Job Duties
· Ensure safe work operations in line with standard operating procedures
· Carry out directions from site foreman regarding task assignments
· Provide on-going support and assistance to equipment operators
· Maintain fluid levels of assigned equipment to the right level
· Complete fuel logs and equipment pre-operating reports
· Assist in the maintenance works of the equipment
· Maintain good housekeeping practices at worksites and on equipment
Job Requirements
· At least 2 years’ experience in operating heavy equipment and preferably crushing equipment
· Experience working around aggregate crushing equipment, such as Jaw-cone, crushers, Impact crushers and stacking conveyors would be considered an asset
· Familiar with general maintenance practices of heavy equipment
· Physically fit to do manual labour and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Ability to work overtime, as needed
· Ability and willingness to travel. The successful candidate must be able to travel and work at multiple locations
