In this role, the Governance Analyst Co-op will assist in the implementation of principles, policies, standards, and procedures related to records governance across the Bank. This includes supporting consistency in data practices across CIBC and to align with legal and regulatory expectations. How you'll succeed Records Management: Support the management of records in line with enterprise guidelines and support the development of internal procedures to streamline record management operations within the team. Assist with the implementation of the program, including assessing operations, creating inventories and reporting on key processes, risks and controls. Operational Excellence - Provide operational support to increase the efficiency of the department through research, analyzing specialized information and proactively adhering to internal risk guidelines and processes. Provide post-implementation operational support including problem resolution and enhancement and recommendations to ensure ongoing success. Risk Management - Identify potential issues that pose risk to CIBC; support complex issues; take action and contribute to resolution by working in collaboration with others. Relationship Management- Work confidently with stakeholders of varying levels, and be able to manage relationships across the organization with proven ability to build strong working partnerships focused on outcomes. Process Enhancement - Assist with facilitating and developing activities required to establish or enhance/ automate processes and identify activities to apply new technologies to existing procedures.
