About the Program
The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in learning from industry-leading professionals and exploring what it means to be a part of Canada’s only Major League Baseball team.
Selected individuals will become part of a diverse cohort with access to department-specific training, social activities, and learning opportunities. Each participant will also be assigned a cross departmental mentor from within the organization to guide them throughout the program and the unique chance to present to the
Toronto Blue Jays
Leadership Team.

Overview
As a member of the Fan Experience Team, you will work cross functionally with the Hospitality/Concessions and Ballpark Experience & Operations team to learn the day-to-day planning and execution that goes into delivering exceptional fan experiences at all Major League Baseball games and concerts at Rogers Centre. This role requires an enthusiastic, hardworking, self-starter who is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our fans and staff in the ballpark

Responsibilities
Working collaboratively with Legends to ensure, training, menus, pricing, speed of service, customer service and presentation adhere to Toronto Blue Jays brand standards
Assist in creating advance documents on food and beverage (F&B) initiatives for all part-time staff, working with internal departments such as Ballpark Experience & Operations, Facilities, Promotions & Events etc. for all baseball games, concerts and hospitality events to ensure seamless communication
Monitor fan feedback (with a focus on Food & Beverage), resolve customer complaints,
identify, and communicate trends and themes and share with internal stakeholders and external partners
Plan and coordinate the conversion of Food and Beverage offerings (signage, menus) from / to baseball to concerts
Act as point of contact for game day/concert F&B requirements/requests
Conduct pre-gate readiness checks and in game/event observation of concessions
Create, manage, and update the Service Result Dashboards (Service measurement, Food and Beverage KPIS,
Participate in job shadowing of gameday FT and PT roles within the Fan Services and Ballpark Experience teams.
Support Gameday Staff initiatives and events
Help with a variety of game day operational set up requirements
Support ballpark operational processes (batting practice administration, credentialling support)
Aid in the recruitment and onboarding of Ballpark gameday staff
Contribute to the development of online and in person training content. Coordinate the scheduling and set up of training sessions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, sports management, or a related field or equivalent work-related experience gained in the last 3 years.
Commitment to service excellence and fan satisfaction
Excellent problem solving, judgement and negotiation skills
Resilience in effectively handling and diffusing difficult situations
A team player who will establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external departments to reach desired result
Enjoys building and managing tracking processes
Passion for motivating and inspiring others
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, home games, and concerts/events as required
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment while standing/walking/moving throughout a busy ballpark
Ability to lift more than 30 pounds
Ability to bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items for a short distance
Will be exposed to loud noises and flashing/bright lights and screens
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Previous work with professional or local sports organization an asset
Experience in customer service an asset
Knowledge of the game of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays is considered an asset
