Work Location Spiritleaf Edmonton International Airport Keyholder (KH) Spiritleaf is seeking a dedicated and experienced Keyholder to become a valued member of our team. This position involves working across both our Spiritleaf Airport and Spiritleaf Whyte Avenue locations. Flexibility is key, as the schedule will include a variety of shifts at each store. Our mission is simple: deliver compelling value to cannabis consumers. We aim to attract, grow, and retain a loyal customer base by offering high-quality cannabis products, in convenient locations, at everyday low prices. --- Role and Responsibilities The Keyholder role includes, but is not limited to: Customer Offering: · Greet customers upon entrance, engage in meaningful conversations, and build relationships to understand their specific needs. · Facilitate a welcoming and positive atmosphere for everyone in the store. · Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and safe/responsible usage. Day-to-Day Operations: · Promote our culture and brand by participating in merchandising and promotional activities. · Collaborate with the Store Manager and team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent service. · Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge, staying informed on cannabis industry legislation, trends, and new products. · Conduct routine store maintenance to ensure cleanliness, organization, and a professional environment. · Complete customer transactions using the POS system and adhere to all cash handling and loss prevention protocols. · Monitor inventory levels, assist with inventory counts, and re-stock products regularly to maintain stock availability. Regulatory Adherence: · Ensure compliance with all provincial cannabis regulations and adhere to federal cannabis laws. This includes the following certifications: o BC: Selling It Right Certification. o AB: SellSafe Certification and Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW) status. o SK: Cannabis Retail Training Program (CRTP). o MB: Cannabis Retail Worker Training Program (CRWTP). o ON: CannSell Certification. · Support and promote Nova Cannabis’s and respective provincial regulatory bodies’ (AGLC/LCRB/SLGA/LGCA/AGCO) social responsibility programs. · Follow all Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures. · Uphold Nova Cannabis’s policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices. --- Experience and Qualifications: · Minimum: 2 years of customer service experience. · Minimum: 2 years of retail and/or hospitality experience. · Cannabis, liquor, or healthcare experience is preferred. · High School Diploma or equivalent. · Mandatory Certifications by Province: o BC: Selling It Right Certification. o AB: SellSafe and Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW). o SK: CRTP Certification. o MB: CRWTP Certification. o ON: CannSell Certification. · Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check. · Working knowledge of provincial cannabis regulations and safe handling requirements. --- Personal Characteristics and Requirements: · Strong customer service skills: positive attitude, charisma, and confidence in engaging with customers. · Quick thinker with creative problem-solving skills. · Open-minded and proactive in identifying ways to improve processes and customer experiences. · Passionate about creating a safe, positive, and tailored experience for every customer. · Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and professional demeanor. · Team player dedicated to supporting the store’s success and goals. · Upholds ethics, confidentiality, and demonstrates a high level of discretion. · Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented. · Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older (19 in BC). · Reliable transportation to and from work. --- Job Type: · Part-time.
