As a Chemical Support Engineer, you will be the primary support for your district to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically and safely at accounts within the district. You will also assist and work alongside sales account managers with the design and implementation of treatment programs. What You'll Do: Routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs within the pulp and paper industry. Update databases with each service visit and generate weekly service reports as required Assists with technical issues at customer sites, brings any issues to the customers attention and puts together a plan for corrective action – ensures the sales account manager is kept informed Look for growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with growth opportunities at prospect accounts as required Assist with data analysis on program performance Routine monitoring and maintenance of feed equipment as required Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree).
