AstraZeneca is on the hunt for a talented UX Specialist to join our dynamic Medical Communications and Information team within the Oncology Business Unit. This role is your chance to collaborate with Content Excellence Directors and the CX Director, crafting user experiences that captivate and inform across various Therapeutic Areas. If you excel at crafting UX content and have a background in medical writing or content creation, we want to hear from you! Accountabilities: Collaborate with the Content Excellence Directors and CX Director to design and deliver high-quality digital assets tailored for various Therapeutic Areas (TA). Develop clear, engaging, and accurate UX content that enhances user experience and aligns with the strategic objectives of the Oncology Business Unit. Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs and incorporate findings into the design process. Create and assess flow maps, wireframes, and user interfaces to ensure an intuitive digital experience. Implement feedback from stakeholder reviews and user testing to refine and improve content and design elements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure UX content is consistent with AstraZeneca’s brand and meets regulatory requirements. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in UX design and medical communications. Essential Skills/Experience: Proven experience in UX design, with a focus on content creation. Background in medical writing or creating medical content is highly preferred. Experience creating site maps, wireframes and layouts. Proficiency in UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.). Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to clearly communicate complex information in a user-friendly manner. Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Understanding of regulatory requirements and constraints in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., UX Design, Digital Media, Communications, Medical Writing) is preferred. Desirable Skills/Experience: Experience with user-centered design methodologies. Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines. Knowledge of HTML/CSS for prototyping purposes. Experience in agile project management environments. Great People want to Work with us!
