We are hiring for a Nutritionist Specialist at our Sunwood Save-On-Foods location in Coquitlam, BC. The successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for: Answering questions and providing information on natural health products, supplements and solutions to customers. Providing product, nutrition and recipe suggestions and recommendations. Supporting the coordination and facilitation of in-store health events and other related programs and services including food and product demonstrations. Inventory management including ordering, stocking, rotating, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization of the health department. Supporting with setting up in-store promotional displays. Maintaining planograms for the health department. Coaching and mentoring team members within the department to support their ongoing development. You have: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Practitioner, or in a related field. A post-secondary education in nutrition, health, or related field. Experience in providing nutrition counselling, dietetics and wellness advice is an asset. Experience in sales and cross-selling in a retail environment. Knowledge of various health and vitamin products and services, with the ability to effectively demonstrate use of products. You are: An excellent communicator with strong relationship building skills. Passionate about providing excellent customer service through engaging and interacting with customers. Organized and detail oriented, with a strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a sense of humor and a fun attitude at work. Committed to continuous learning and development.
