Unposting Date: 2025-05-29 11:59 PM Cross Platform Content Producer Focus on Women in Sport CBC Sports - Content Production Unit As a Cross-Platform Content Producer within CBC Sports assigned to brand partnerships for base business, Olympics and Paralympics, you will contribute to creative development and ideation and be responsible for execution of broadcast, digital and social assets for multiple brand partners across our platforms. You will play a key role in conceiving, planning, assigning, and managing the execution of broadcast, digital and social content, ensuring alignment with CBC Sports CPU visual standards and partner brand guidelines, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Oversee the creative direction and end-to-end production of multi-platform partnership content, ensuring high design and production standards, brand consistency, and alignment with partner and CBC Sports business goals. Develop engaging, platform-optimized content in various formats (text, image, video, stories, live formats) tailored to audience behaviour and features on platforms like CBC TV, CBC Gem, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and YouTube Shorts. Lead compelling athlete content storytelling, ensuring all static, motion, and video assets are authentic, engaging, and optimized for the intended platforms. Guide all production stages (storyboarding, treatments, filming, editing) and manage relationships with internal teams, external freelancers, and partners to ensure quality deliverables and brand alignment. Contribute to content ideation through active participation in brainstorming and the development of creative concepts. Produce, and/or manage high-quality video content for all platforms as needed, maintaining brand voice and aesthetics. Provide strategic and creative feedback to designers, editors, and copywriters to ensure brand guidelines and campaign objectives are met. Present creative concepts confidently to senior stakeholders and partners, advocating for innovative broadcast and social-first approaches. Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards and client/CBC Sports expectations. Stay current on multi-platform content trends, technologies, platform best practices, and emerging formats (e.g., TikTok trends). In-Games Key Tasks Capture and/or produce real-time athlete content for partner campaigns during the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, including highlights, interviews, trend-based moments, and behind-the-scenes storytelling tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. Monitor Olympic moments, athlete storylines and emerging trends to identify timely opportunities to create content that expands partner campaigns, supports athlete narratives and aligns with pre-approved digital and social campaign strategies. Write, schedule and publish Olympic content across digital and social platforms, following the partner social calendar, approved campaign plans and platform-specific best practices. Collaborate with producers, associate producers, editors and social creators to create engaging, timely content tailored for each platform based on the partner campaign strategy. Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity, maintaining creative standards while optimizing content for each platform. What you bring: Desired Skills and Experience: Demonstrated interest or industry experience in content production focused on Women in Sport or the female perspective (beneficial). Proven ability to work with and manage high-profile talent and performers. Experience shooting with various camera formats and editing skills are an asset (submission of a creative production reel may be required). Proven Experience A minimum of 5 years industry contribution to the end-to-end development and execution of multi-platform brand partnership content for major sport events (e.g., FIFA, NHL or Olympics) or comparable high-profile sponsorship campaigns, ideally in collaboration with prominent brands or broadcasters, is required. A strong portfolio showcasing multi-platform campaigns, content creation, and platform growth results is essential for review. Experience creating short-form videos that have integrated in broadcast programming and grown audiences on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Fast, fluent editing skills using CapCut, Final Cut, Premiere or similar tools is an asset to role Proven experience directing on-location video and photo shoots specifically for digital and social platforms, demonstrating the ability to lead production teams and capture visually engaging content aligned with creative briefs. Strong grasp of platform-specific content, timing, hooks, pacing and visual engagement Ability to identify and respond quickly to emerging digital trends Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a fast-paced environment The ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet daily deadlines while maintaining high creative standards. Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as needed, particularly during major international sporting events such as the Olympics.
