Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Material Handler / Shipper / Receiver.
What you’ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, this position is responsible for all duties related to shipping and receiving. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently manage the receipt and storage of incoming materials, particularly our steel parts. The ideal candidate will ensure that all materials are accurately documented, safely stored, and readily accessible for production needs.
This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total), which are located across Canada and comprise of smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receive and Inspect Shipments: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
Material Handling: Safely unload, move, and store materials, including steel, using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of received materials and notify Team Lead if any discrepancies or issues are noticed.
Storage Organization: Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring efficient use of space and easy access for production teams.
Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and electronic records for all received shipments. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to management.
Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations and timely availability of materials.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
Valid forklift license (electric counterbalance), with min. 1-year operating experience
No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80 kilometers of Mississauga, Ontario to be considered.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years experience working in a warehouse environment
Experience with an ERP system, ideally Oracle
