Description:
Our client, a leading banking institution, is seeking multiple Analysts to join their Operational Risk & Resiliency group. This team is crucial in supporting the Global Markets and Investment & Corporate Banking teams. With a significant backlog of work, this role requires proactive and detail-oriented individuals who can connect the dots between information and existing controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct control tests to assess the effectiveness of operational processes.
Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls to identify weaknesses or gaps.
Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and identified issues.
Collaborate with risk management, compliance, and internal audit teams to share insights and coordinate efforts.
Work with business units to address and remediate control deficiencies.
Implement corrective actions and preventative measures with relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of controls over time.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit, or similar functions.
Controls Testing is a MUST
Proficiency in Excel (working with data, tabs, tables, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Interest or experience in Banking or Capital Markets.
Strong work ethic.
Proactive in completing tasks.
Excellent communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
