Description
Create engaging social media graphics and videos for multiple clients using in-house scheduling tools and AI.
Source or create relevant imagery, graphics, and short-form videos to complement content strategies.
Use current templates in Canva to align with branding and ensure videos created using other tools (OpusPro, CapCut, TikTok) follow branding as closely as possible.
Work closely with our social marketing team to ensure posts align with brand messaging and campaign goals.
Edit short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
Manually post videos to TikTok and YouTube as required with provided title and captions.
Monitor reviews on platforms like Google My Business, DMs and comments on social channels, and flag negative sentiments with the social media team.
Ensure timely delivery of social media materials.
Add captions, transitions, text overlays, and music as required.
Flag any relevant social media trends and collaborate with the in-house team on post collaboration.
WORK EXPECTATIONS:
140-150 static posts (graphics, sourced images, carousels)/month | 60-70 hours/month
40-50 short videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts etc)/month | 30-50 hours/month
Podcast to Short Video Edits
We have a client who films a podcast and works with a 3rd party to create 8-10 reels per podcast episode. We review the batch, including the full-length episode (10-15min) to ensure quality standards are met and captions are correct, which takes about 2-4 hours.
We receive 4 podcast episodes at a time but reviewing the content can be spread out over the course of several months (1 episode per month).
Another client recently started filming podcast episodes and we use an AI tool called OpusPro to clip them into short videos (5-6 videos per podcast). This would require ensuring that the clip flows (no awkward cut offs, clear topic) and that captions are accurate.

About half of our clients pre-approve posts. In these cases, we send a month worth of social posts (8-12/per client) in advance. In all other cases, we ensure we schedule content two weeks in advance.
The in-house social media team would plan content and create captions in advance to hand off for graphic and video creation, though some ad hoc requests may come up.
Hard Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media content creation and video editing.
Strong understanding of social media trends and ability to think creatively and critically when applying these trends.
Strong understanding of design platforms (Canva, Capcut, or similar tools).
Familiarity with AI editing tools such as OpusPro is considered an asset.
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent command of English—both written and spoken.
Ability to tell a visual narrative even with limited assets.
Reliable computer setup and high-speed internet connection.
Familiarity with navigating Business Suite, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and Google My Business.
