The Global Data Governance team works with the Segment Data Governance and Office teams across Manulife to enable faster and easier access to data with the right controls. This is an opportunity to work on a global team, to learn more about data storytelling through the development of dashboards and data analytics. This role supports the creation of dashboards, automated workflows, and templates for the Global Data governance team and it's business partners. The Data Governance Co-op will also support the maintenance of the Global Data Governance SharePoint site. Position Responsibilities: Supports the Global and Segment Data Governance and Office teams in the development and operationalization of the Data Governance KPI dashboard. Supports the creation of Data Governance reports, process flows, templates, and job aids. Helps to maintain and enhance the Global Data Governance SharePoint site. Supports training and communication activities for the team. Organizes and facilitates meetings and takes meeting minutes. Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a co-op program at your post-secondary institution. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines. Understanding and experience working with PowerBI, PowerApps, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office tools. Strong written communication and presentation skills. Highly organized, good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
