We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to develop skills in process and people management through active involvement in real estate projects. The co-op will gain a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to be a real estate investment manager, enhancing their project management capabilities. By the end of the term, the co-op will have improved their understanding of real estate operations and strengthened their ability to build relationships in a corporate environment. This experience will also allow them to apply critical thinking to investment scenarios and expand their professional network within the industry. Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with service providers to ensure expectations are met and assist in resolving any system or process issues. Review and provide constructive feedback to service providers to improve service quality and efficiency. Work closely with team members, including senior leadership, on matters related to the financial operations of the business. Gain experience in managing external relationships and understanding the intricacies of financial operations within the organization. Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a co-op program at your post-secondary institution. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting. Strong project and people management skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively to achieve desired outcomes. Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial data to support business decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels to optimize processes and drive organizational success.
