Join CarePros as a Program Supervisor in Edmonton, where you'll lead, mentor, and empower a team of driven Child and Youth Care Workers (CYCWs) — with the support and camaraderie of a close-knit, fun-loving team.
This is a leadership role where you’ll be on the floor caring for children and youth, setting the gold standard for your CYCWs. We have two full-time permanent positions available with a schedule of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, 6 days on 3 days off.
Your Typical Day
Lead and mentor your team of CYCWs to deliver exceptional trauma-informed care
Support program operations including staffing, scheduling, and organizing workflows
Work hands-on alongside your youth to create a nurturing environment
Foster strong partnerships with families, caregivers, and stakeholders
Ensure compliance, safety, and smooth operations through proactive coaching and leadership
Collaborate with your internal teams (People and Culture, Finance, Communications)
Provide evening and weekend on-call support as needed
What You Bring To The Table
3+ years hands-on experience providing direct care to children and youth with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care or Social Work
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in front-line care
2+ years of experience working with Children's Services, FSCD, or PDD
Unmatched understanding of trauma, mental wellness, and home care best practices
Stellar communication and mentorship skills
Solution-focused mindset with a passion for growth and positive impact
Must-Haves
Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s Licence, 10-Year Alberta Driver’s Abstract, and Alberta auto insurance with $2 million liability in your name
Valid Standard First Aid + AED with CPR Level C
Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check from the last 6 months
Clear Intervention Record Check from the last 6 months
