This position is located at the Pilot Plant Facility and reports to the Pilot Plant Manager.
What you will do:
Support potash operating segment projects at all 6 Potash sites
Support portfolios of Product Quality, Metallurgical Projects and Mill Process & Pilot Plant team
Collect and analyze potash process samples
Responsible for the timely and orderly flow of sample analysis
Ensure the accuracy of all analytical information processed
Participate in safety programs
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
Miscellaneous assignments as they arise, due to need and priority
What you will bring:
Chemical Technology Diploma or equivalent degree program
Previous Potash site experience is an asset
Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, standard operating procedures, and safe work practices
Ability to travel to any one of the 6 Potash sites as needed
Familiarity with Potash processing circuits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Aptitude for identifying and mitigating hazards in the workplace
Ability to adapt to changing timelines and priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated accountability
Tactful and effective communication skills with a variety of people and departments
Readiness to learn new skills and take on increasing responsibility
