About the Role
The Program Specialist, AI Workforce Readiness is a full-time, two-year contract position contributing to a national initiative fostering AI skills development by connecting post-secondary institutions, researchers, and industry. This role is crucial for building and maintaining clear communication with participating post-secondary institutions. The Program Specialist will ensure program organization and keep partners well-informed to facilitate effective engagement and collaboration in the development of impactful AI learning materials and curricula.
Reporting to the Manager, AI Workforce Readiness, this position is a key member of the Training Team and actively contributes to the execution of Amii’s commitment to nurture an AI-literate workforce. This position focuses on supporting program development and growth, building strong stakeholder relationships through meaningful communication, and enabling collaboration between Training Team members and post-secondary institutions.
Aligning with Amii’s mission of ‘AI for good and for all’, the Program Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to the Manager, AI Workforce Readiness and educational institutions ensuring the effective deployment of AI Workforce Readiness programs and curricula.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the Manager, AI Workforce Readiness to leverage insights from research partners to collect, organize and inform content development needs for post-secondary partners
Executes on program delivery workflows and communication to support content development with Machine Learning Educators
Supports the Manager, AI Workforce Readiness in coordinating and managing post-secondary institution partners
Analyze AI learning resources, survey feedback, and user data to identify actionable insights for learning content and product development optimization
Gathers and analyzes reporting requirements for the AI Workforce Readiness Program and provides relevant insights to the program’s Steering Committee and funding partner
Contributes to stakeholder engagement initiatives led by the Manager, AI Workforce Readiness, focusing on collaboration with program channel partners
Ensures all communication is clear, timely, and addresses stakeholder concerns and expectations
Works effectively with the Training team and other Amii teams to achieve shared goals and enhance cross-functional collaboration
Manages and oversees the timely completion of all deliverables
Identifies problem-solving strategies while actively collaborating with team members
Qualifications:
Post-Secondary Degree in Business, Communication, Education, or related field
2+ years of experience in program support and delivery, communications, and stakeholder relations
1+ years of Project Management experience
Experience working with various Post-secondary institutions (polytechnics, colleges or universities) (nice to have)
Experience working within a technology-focused organization is an asset (nice to have)
Experience with Learning Management Systems (nice to have)
Proficient in tools such as Google Suite, HubSpot or related CRM Tools
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects at a time
