We chase the miracles of science every single day, pursuing progress to make a real impact on millions of patients around the world Major Activities of the Job: Effective and Efficient Execution of Testing Following Departmental SOPs/Approved Testing Protocols: This activity involves receipt and management of sample (i.e. Growth Promotion, Bioburden, Viable count, Identity, Absence of Mycobacteriurn/Mycoplasma, Residue Neomycin, Endotoxin, Container Closure Integrity, and Withdrawable content), completion and reporting of relevant testing and the associated LIMS or SAP tasks. It includes but not limited to: Receive test samples and transfer to the appropriate testing area. Perform testing, read and report results. Submit microbial colonies recovered from testing for identification, when appropriate. Maintenance of Quality Systems: Ensure compliance is maintained in all daily activities by following SOPs, protocols and procedures as they apply. Review and verify test results performed by other analysts. Identify and notify Manager of any laboratory non-conformances. Maintenance of Work Area, Test Related Equipment and Supplies: Responsible for general maintenance of work area including cleaning of facility, equipment maintenance and disposal of hazardous waste. Monitor and maintain inventory of test related materials and supplies. Liaison with purchasing, receiving and vendors. Ensure the appropriate cleaning /equipment logs or other related records are completed and maintained as per the established procedures. Training: Complete On-the-job training according to current Lesson plans, and document as required. Attend and participates in relevant training sessions continuously. Review relevant SOPs/literatures continuously. Participate in regularly scheduled GMP updates and safety training. Participate in Specialized Projects/Continuous Improvement of Test Methods: Write/ train on validation protocols and reports. Prepare data and documents using company's approved format. Assist Manager /TGL in planning and/or coordinating of project activities. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum four (4) years Bachelor’s Degree (Microbiology). Preferred two (2) years Master’s Degree (Microbiology) plus a minimum eighteen (18) months of previous relevant work experience. Computer/Printer. Microscope. Biocontainment Cabinet.
