This position is for a Property Administrator based out of Toronto and is site-based About the role As Property Administrator within our REMS team, you'll play a central role in customer care by bringing outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a positive demeanor to everything you do. As a Property Administrator, you will be involved in all aspects of assisting the Property Manager. Your outstanding communication and organizational skills mean that you are able to respond to tenant inquiries, you exude integrity and your customer service skills are second to none. You also assist the property manager with regular reporting, and tenant correspondence. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise to help us lead our industry into the future. In this role: Generate and issue purchase orders (POs); reconcile and close open POs on a monthly basis. Review, code, and process invoices promptly to ensure payment within 60 days. Create weekly payable batches for submission to the Client for processing. Follow up on aging invoices and ensure proper documentation and approvals. Assist APM with monthly accruals. Respond to vendor payment inquiries. Run and update AR reports weekly. Follow up with tenants in arrears via phone or email; escalate to APM if necessary. Reconcile tenant accounts; coordinate with accounting on adjustments and discrepancies. Respond to tenant inquiries regarding accounts. Assist with the preparation and distribution of annual Rental Notices (RANs) and Year-End reconciliation letters. Process chargeback invoices. Track and report retail sales collections. What you'll bring : Driven, quick learner and able to work with a large team. Experienced in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in a fast-paced office environment. Strong knowledge of YARDI. Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the client by managing expectations. Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications. Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills. Strong relationship-building ability, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful. Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail.
