Reports To: Infrastructure Manager
Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and managing both short-term and long-term maintenance plans within the community. This role is essential for the effective implementation and utilization of the organization's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), specifically Limble, to optimize maintenance operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans within the Limble CMMS.
Create and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely scheduling and execution of maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Coordinator to align maintenance activities with overall operational needs and priorities.
Prepare and manage budgetary estimates for maintenance projects, including the procurement of necessary materials and resources.
Monitor maintenance schedules and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changing operational requirements and priorities.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, associated costs, and equipment histories within the CMMS.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and organizational policies in every aspect of maintenance planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering Technology, Maintenance Management).
Experience: Minimum of three years of progressive experience in maintenance planning or a closely related role.
Proficiency in using various CMMS platforms.
Demonstrated experience with Limble CMMS is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
Combination of office and field work environments.
Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
May require occasional evening or weekend work.
Exposure to construction, maintenance, and industrial environments.
