Within Ecolab Canada’s Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) division, we currently have an excellent opportunity for a Supply Clerk (Shipping/Receiving) to ensure the smooth and efficient organization and shipment of QSR Canada inventory and equipment to customers across Canada. Main Responsibilities: Monitor inventory levels as materials, equipment and stock are shipped . Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure adequate stock is always on hand. Complete accurate tracking and part counting of inventory; compile and maintain accurate inventory lists. Maintain the safety, organization and cleanliness in the stockroom. Check incoming orders from customers and print picking list for shipping. Assemble parcels, equipment and box/package appropriately. As necessary, assemble dispensing equipment prior to packaging and shipment to customer. Maintain and update all information for all division customers and field sales team, ensuring reference lists are in current order for the accurate distribution of packages. Receive equipment shipped from U.S. and sort appropriately. Receive returned packages and re-process appropriately. Receive requests for MSDS, print and mail in a timely manner. Ship supplies as required to field sales team. Provide back up support for other functions as required Education and Experience Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous shipping/receiving, inventory control or mailroom experience would be an asset Location: Ecolab's Maingate Warehouse Technical Skills and Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Well developed organization and administrative skills. Ability to use computer programs to enter data. Ability to perform basic calculations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Must have a flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet changing demands. Ability to interact effectively with others, including within own team. Adaptable and able to respond to “urgent” requests and changing priorities. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Position involves working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fork lifts and packaged chemical products. This position requires standing, bending and lifting/carrying of packages up to 50 lbs.
