Job Summary Job Description What is the Opportunity? As the Senior Manager, Life and Group Benefits Service, you will be leading our Life & Health Service and Group Benefits Service teams. You will be leading the teams who service and support Brokers, Career Sales Advisors and direct to clients on new and in-force life and health insurance policies, group benefits plans and group annuities. You will develop a culture of client first and deliver an excellent client experience on each interaction. What will you do? Responsible for leader development, while ensuring the business achieves their targets. Partner and collaborate with partners in Recruitment, Learning, CPO and Operations to ensure the businesses are adequately staffed and trained to achieve KPI's. Work with partners to identify areas of opportunity to increase efficiency within both businesses. Drive performance and accountability by setting clear, bold, ambitious goals that align to organizational priorities, including simplifying work and removing barriers Unlock the potential of your team to outperform by supporting the development of the Leadership Model behaviors Advocate for your team, facilitate opportunities and dedicate time to discover, attract, accelerate and retain talent Provide timely and actionable feedback and coaching to enhance performance and empower employees with the skills to thrive long-term Foster an environment where employees feel safe to speak up without fear of retaliation Promote a strong risk culture, hold teams accountable for their behaviours and address/escalate misconduct promptly What Will You Need to Succeed? Must Have 5+ years Advice Centre experience Effective at working with senior management and operations teams to understand needs and requirements Strong impact & influence abilities including sound insight and judgment to make transformational decisions Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives with a wide range of stakeholders Strong relationship management skills with ability to lead, motivate and inspire staff, including promote a culture of high performance that celebrates inclusivity and innovation Demonstrated ability to drive client and employee experience Nice to have Life, Health & Wealth Service expertise Group Benefit subject matter expert Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) What’s in it for you?
