JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) is a critical new role that will help ensure the operational efficiency and long-term sustainability for Blackstone's assets and projects. Reporting to the President, the Manager of O&M will oversee the development, planning, and day-to-day management of all operations and maintenance activities across various Blackstone departments. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to support clients in site auditing, analyzing existing maintenance agreements, assessing asset repair costs, and providing strategic recommendations for planned maintenance scope and pricing related to Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) and MESA project equipment, systems, and assets. The successful candidate will also lead the development and implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support both existing and future O&M operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
O&M Strategy & Oversight: Develop and implement operations and maintenance plans that align with organizational objectives and client needs.
Client Support & Site Audits: Lead client site audits to assess maintenance agreements, asset conditions, and repair costs. Provide recommendations for improved efficiency and cost optimization.
Maintenance Planning & Pricing: Design and refine maintenance scopes, pricing models, and service agreements for EaaS and MESA projects.
CMMS Development: Spearhead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of a CMMS system to support O&M operations and improve asset tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance strategies with broader operational goals.
Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and sustainability initiatives in all maintenance activities.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead maintenance personnel and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related trade licensing and O&M experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance, asset management, or facilities management.
Expertise in CMMS systems, asset lifecycle management, and predictive maintenance strategies.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects across multiple departments.
Ability to assess financial implications of maintenance agreements and provide cost-effective recommendations.
Knowledge of EaaS and MESA project infrastructure, systems, and assets preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
