Job DescriptionR25_0008829#LI - HybridCandidates must be currently located in the greater Toronto area and be able to attend onsite meetings in the Toronto office as neededAs an Accounting Manager you will:Balance Sheet & P&L analytics prior to closingCoordinate with regional departments including HR, legal, Commercial, Treasury, CAS, IT etc, to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.Consult on standardized process design and collaborate on process efficienciesCollaborate with tax team on direct and indirect tax mattersEnsure timeliness and accuracy of reporting including Balance Sheet flux analysis and P&L analyticsLead and provide direction/coordination on any M&A integration & reporting, as well as any ad hoc special projects.Manage various accounting activities, including review & approvals of journal entry, account reconciliations, month end tie out and review quarterly/year end pack, etc.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting/FinanceCPA preferred5-8 years of progressive experience, preferably in a large global companyExperience with OneStream and SAP preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment requiredExcellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (email, letters, reports, other correspondence) to varying external and internal contacts at varying levelsStrong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointExperience with US GAAP Accounting and Sox ControlIntellectually curious and analytically strongProgressive thinking skills and the ability to think and act independentlyAdditional InformationOur BenefitsFlexible working environmentVolunteer time offLinkedIn LearningEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)
