The Google Workspace Specialist is a newly created role responsible for providing deep expertise, guidance, and support for our organization's transition to, and ongoing utilization of, Google Workspace. This individual will be a champion for Google Workspace; driving adoption, providing training, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring our employees leverage the full potential of the platform to enhance collaboration, productivity, and communication. The Specialist will play a critical role in the successful implementation and long-term success of our Google Workspace environment. Key Responsibilities: Transition Support: Assist with the planning, testing, and deployment of Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Chat, Appsheets, etc.). Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Google Workspace usage, best practices, and troubleshooting. Expertise and Support: Serve as the subject matter expert on all aspects of Google Workspace functionality and best practices. Provide Tier 3 level technical support to end-users for Google Workspace related issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution. Collaborate with Google support and external vendors as needed to resolve complex issues. Training and Adoption: Develop and deliver engaging training materials (guides, videos, workshops) for employees at all levels on how to effectively use Google Workspace tools. Conduct training sessions (in-person and virtual) to promote adoption and maximize user proficiency. Create and implement strategies to drive user engagement and encourage the utilization of Google Workspace features Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Experience with scripting / automation and knowledge of data migration processes to Google Workspace. Deep understanding of the Google Workspace security and compliance features with strong troubleshooting skills. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in information technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience providing technical support and training for cloud-based productivity suites, with a strong focus on Google Workspace. Preferred Qualifications: Google Workspace Administrator certification. Experience working in a similar role during a Google Workspace migration project. Experience with integrating Google Workspace with other enterprise applications. Experience with change management and driving user adoption of new technologies. We thank you for your interest.
