Job DescriptionAIM is currently looking for a Crane Operator for the Saint-Augustin site, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Reporting to the Site Director, the operator receives various types of metals, performs an initial classification, and transports them to the appropriate locations.What you’re responsible for: Carrying out all operations related to the use of heavy machinery (grapples, magnets, loaders) assigned to you, while respecting safety rules, quality standards, and environmental regulations;Sorting materials and supplying raw materials to various plants;Loading and unloading materials from trucks and railcars;Informing the supervisor of any non-conforming material;Inspecting machinery at the beginning of each shift;Ensuring the machinery is functioning properly and reporting any issues to your immediate supervisor.QualificationsTo join our team: DEP in heavy machinery or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience operating heavy vehiclesExperience operating a heavy vehicle Knowledge of metals (an asset)Careful and attentive with equipmentStrong health and safety awarenessVersatile and resourceful
