Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect/Engineer to join our Agile software delivery team focused on developing modern web and API solutions. This role involves leading the technical solution design and providing architectural guidance to a high-performing delivery team. The position requires deep technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for driving digital transformation through modern cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, delivery, and execution of integrated IT solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.
Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to shape architectural roadmaps and technical solutions.
Provide high-level and detailed solution designs aligned with business and technical requirements.
Mentor development teams on architecture, design, and coding best practices.
Champion DevOps culture, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and agile practices within the team.
Ensure quality of deliverables by promoting code standards and performance optimization strategies.
Engage in iterative development processes within an Agile framework.
Support the modernization of technology stacks and tooling strategies.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software engineering and IT architecture roles.
Proven ability to deliver complex enterprise-grade software solutions.
Technical Skills:
Backend Development: Proficiency with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Quarkus, XML, SOAP, RESTful Web Services, Multithreading, Swagger, and Microservices.
Open APIs: Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing REST-based APIs, particularly from the TMF Open API suite.
Frontend Development: Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, and integration with backend services.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools and scripting.
Frameworks & Methodologies:
Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, eTOM, ITIL, or CoBiT.
Strong grasp of Agile development practices, with hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, and familiarity with the SAFe framework.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills—fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.
Working Conditions:
Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year with the possibility to extend
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
