As an ECA, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with childcare staff and the Supervisor at various centres located in Peel region (Mississauga and Brampton). Your role includes fostering a nurturing, safe environment for children from infant to school age, supporting daily activities, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

Working Conditions:
Occasional light to medium physical effort; lifting, bending and stooping.
Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons.
Responsibilities:
Create a warm, inclusive learning environment that supports child development
Supervise children during both indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety
Keep classrooms and shared spaces clean and organized
Assist with meals and nap time in line with centre policies and Public Health standards
Actively participate in play-based and learning activities with children
Support staff and contribute to a collaborative, positive team environment
Adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines, including CCEYA, AQI, HDLH, as well as centre-specific and Sentient HR policies
Participate in all mandatory company activities, trainings and meetings.
Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Manage children with challenging behaviours and communicate effectively
Clear Vulnerable Sector Police check (within 6 months)
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C
Familiarity with HDLH, AQI, and CCEYA
Reliable transportation within Peel region (Mississauga and Brampton).
