Pre-Fab gang forms, install forms and ensure quality control of formwork. Install forms to footings, retaining walls, interior walls, columns, slabs and stairs. Stripping and removal of concrete formwork after concrete pours. Erect and build scaffolding for access and concrete formwork decks. Reading and interpreting blueprints. Accurately take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed. Help manage and prevent occupational hazards and ensure site meets all safety standards. Communicate with Carpenter Foreman regarding any concerns, discrepancies, or alterations that may arise during construction to a building or areas affected by a building on site Other duties as assigned. What You Bring. 3+ years of carpentry experience required Must have experience with framing, formwork and finishing Must have experience working on a high-rise construction site Excellent communication skills in English Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment Ability to assess situations and identify potential hazards Comfortable working at heights About The Company: Founded on more than 35 years of collective professional experience, CapWest is specialized in meeting the modern needs of the growing construction industry in North America.
