The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a variety of development efforts—ranging from consulting projects with detailed specifications and comprehensive reporting to internal product development initiatives. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented leader who is comfortable navigating the dynamic and multifaceted nature of a startup. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that project milestones are clearly defined, met on schedule, and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans outlining deliverables, timelines, and resource allocations.
Coordinate project execution across both consulting engagements and product development cycles.
Utilize GitHub Projects to track progress, manage backlogs, and collaborate with development teams.
Facilitate regular status meetings to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures.
Create and maintain comprehensive project specifications, reports, and documentation.
Ensure that all project milestones, challenges, and resolutions are clearly documented and communicated.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
Foster a transparent, collaborative environment that supports the dynamic needs of a startup.
Monitor project metrics to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
Continually evaluate and improve project management processes by leveraging tools like GitHub Projects for increased efficiency.
A minimum of 3 years’ project management experience in technology or software development, with exposure to startup environments.
Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently, including both consulting projects and product development initiatives.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Expertise in project planning, risk management, and agile methodologies.
Proficiency with GitHub Projects to manage issues, track progress, and collaborate with technical teams.
Ability to distill complex technical and business requirements into actionable project plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
