Maintain and improve plant performance in the areas of safety, operations, maintenance, reliability, quality and environmental compliance. Responsible for planning, managing, and organizing the maintenance team and required contractors to safely complete maintenance activities, technical changes/improvements, project implementation and shutdown planning Support plant compliance requirements regarding mechanical integrity, Process Safety Systems and TSSA Support and implement initiatives related to predictive, preventive, corrective maintenance and equipment calibration; Demonstrate competency and capacity to be identified as Site Subject Matter Expert for equipment and instrumentation to provide technical support, root cause analysis and guidance to other AO and/or other BL sites as required. Support the production and ESHQ team in issuing, reviewing and conducting preliminary risk analyzes, modification requests (MOCs), process failure analysis, near misses, non-conformity reports and PHA, as well as applicable actions and solutions for PSM related findings. Support the ESHQ area in complying with quality, health, safety, environmental procedures and standards, this role will be the key operational support to investigate and address any issues. Identify and carryout out reliability initiaitves to improve the process and utilities performance. Goals will be to increase equipment performance efficiency and availability to reduce downtime while meeting the maintenance and capital budgets Analyze the correct specifications of the equipment, instrumentation and spare parts, and prioritize the acquiring critical equipment along with maintaining the site’s general spare parts requirements Deliver small-scale projects while working within an established program management plan Identifies shortcomings and implements improvements to existing maintenance, mechanical and electrical processes, systems and procedures. Helps develop procedures for the maintenance and engineering organization, and monitor their implementation. Delivers required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan Provide planning and organizing of daily, weekly and shutdown maintenance requirements for 4-7 resources in the maintenance team and external contractors as required.
