Synopsis of the role The Technical Delivery Manager will lead a critical team responsible for the daily operation and continuous improvement of our high-volume, batch data delivery platform. This platform processes and enriches data for our Tier 1 Clients, demanding exceptional reliability and quality. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, quality-focused mindset, project management acumen, and strong client communication skills to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. What you’ll do: Business tasks: Lead and manage a team of 10-15 configuration Developers and QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment Oversee the daily operations of the batch delivery platform, ensuring timely and accurate data processing and delivery to Tier 1 Clients Plan and execute project delivery, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation Conduct financial forecasting and manage budgets related to platform operations and projects Act as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 Clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction Collaborate with other Delivery Managers and cross-functional teams to align on strategic initiatives and resolve operational issues Develop and deliver executive-level reports on platform performance, project status, and key metrics Technical tasks: Manage and optimize platform performance, focusing on stability, scalability, and efficiency within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment Maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems using Google Logging and Monitoring Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform capabilities and streamline processes Maintain platform compliance with all relevant security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements, including those specific to Canadian financial services Adhere to Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for all releases, ensuring robust security and compliance What experience you need: Business experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proven experience in managing and delivering complex technical projects in a financial services or similarly regulated environment Significant experience as a team lead, including training, mentoring, and performance management Strong analytical thinking, project and delivery planning, and resource planning skills Experience interacting with Tier 1 Clients and providing executive reporting Experience in a high-volume, mission-critical batch processing environment Experience with financial forecasting Technical experience: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow, Composer, YAML configuration, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Logging/Monitoring/Alerting Strong understanding of data processing and batch delivery systems Knowledge of various file encoding formats Former object-oriented development experience is highly desirable What could set you apart: A deep understanding of financial services data and regulatory requirements Demonstrated ability to optimize and automate complex data processing workflows Experience with API tools such as Bruno or Postman Proficiency in Python scripting, shell scripting Experience with Kubernetes, KMS and Pub/Sub Professional level of French proficiency, both written and verbal, is an asset for communication with stakeholders in French-speaking regions Primary Location: CAN-Toronto-5700 Yonge Function: Function - Fulfillment / Operations Schedule: Full time At Equifax, we believe knowledge drives progress.
