We have restaurants, food halls, and catering teams in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia.Job DescriptionThe Catering Expeditor is responsible for receiving products from the OB Caters Kitchen and coordinating with the Logistics team to have the items delivered in a timely manner while ensuring that all products are packaged correctly and with care. Between deliveries, this role is also responsible in assisting in the inventory and ordering of beverages, small wares and disposables, as well as maintaining catering storage areas.The Day to Day:Communicate with the Operations, Logistics and Culinary teams regarding delivery details, methods of packaging and timing inferencesReceive, mark off and package orders and in a safe and timely mannerConfidently navigate and understand BEO’s and production sheetsAssist with the general day-to-day tasks as needed including cleaning, organising and orderingAssist in the expedition and delivery of orders within the buildingUnderstand food allergens and have a critical eye for signage/labels being sent out with deliveriesTrack incoming and outgoing internal small wares used for drop catering ordersFollow Health & Safety regulationsAdditional duties as assigned or requiredQualificationsExperience in catering and hospitality preferredAbility to lift 20kg with easeAbility to work on your feet for 6+ hours (majority of shift)Ability to take direction, multitask and work calmly and effectively under pressureExceptional eye for detailWillingness to take on any taskAbility to problem solve and adapt while maintaining O&B standardsHigh critical thinker with strong verbal communication skillsValid G Drivers License an assetCriminal check requiredAdditional Information We thank all applicants for their interest in Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality; however, only suitable candidates will be contacted to continue the application process.
